FEATURES
Erect palisades, develop structures, and evolve your gord from a humble settlement to a formidable fortress. However, expansion will not be easy! Your population is constantly threatened by enemy tribes, terrifying monsters, and mysterious powers lurking in the surrounding woods.
Gord's diverse quests will take you beyond the walls of your village, whether to avert a calamity or resolve a personal matter for one of your subjects. Main story objectives will guide your journey, while side quests and random encounters will send you into the wilderness to hunt legendary creatures, uncover the secrets of the Ancients, or vanquish a terrible plague. Expect the unexpected.
Prepare the stage by choosing from a wide range of scenario options and strive to emerge victorious. Take it easy or launch an impossible challenge; almost everything can be adjusted! Choose from a variety of main objectives, select the level size, raid intensity, the environment in which you will play, the types of enemies you will face, starting resources, and even the severity of the weather conditions. And of course, don't forget the horrors.
A healthy population is key to survival in Gord. Every aspect of your colonists' lives, from illness and hunger to the death of loved ones, can impact their individual health. Monitor them closely, because when a colonist reaches a critical point, they will collapse or even flee your territory.
Appease the gods with your prayers, and they may grant you access to their spellcasting abilities. Incantations vary in nature—some offensive, others defensive—but they all contribute to turning the tide of battle in your favor. Conceal areas from your enemies, seize control of menacing beasts, or unleash unholy rage upon all who dare oppose you.
The Chronicle recounts the history of the Gord universe, a blend of Slavic mythology and dark fantasy. Pages from the Chronicle will be scattered throughout the game's landscapes, offering dedicated players an additional challenge of discovery. By collecting as many pages as possible, you will uncover the origins of the Gods, ancient factions, and the mystical Whisperers.
