A decent adventure, a successful PS5 Pro version. Overall, Mirage returns somewhat to the series' roots with more classic gameplay, less action-RPG oriented than the last trilogy, for better or for worse. On the PS5 Pro side, it remains quite good (without being exceptional), eliminating the absurd performance/graphics choice of standard consoles, finally offering both worlds at once.

Very good game. A nice distraction and out of curiosity, good gameplay at least for me, and a bit pricey.

An epic return to its roots. "Assassin's Creed Mirage" on PS5 is a true homage to the early games in the series, offering gameplay more focused on stealth and narrative, like in "Assassin's Creed" and "Assassin's Creed II." The game takes place in Baghdad, and the immersion in the city is incredible. The graphics are gorgeous, with stunning detail and an immersive soundscape that plunges you directly into the historical world. The "Launch Edition" includes some cool bonuses, such as costumes and customization items, adding extra value to the purchase. If you're a fan of the series or enjoy open-world adventures with a captivating story, this game won't disappoint. A great addition to the saga!

In keeping with the previous installments. What can I say about Assassin's Creed… the Creed, the assassinations. Not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo or can't stand blood (there's no fashion with unicorns pooping butterflies). In short, I recommend this game, which follows on from the previous installments. I would have liked it to be larger and the story longer, though.

Amazing game! Basim is as bad as he gets. From the very beginning Basim starts to turn into an egotistical assh*le. His ego grows and grows. To start with he is quite helpful and kind to the inhabitants of Anbar but as time goes on. Basim becomes more self absorbed with being more than human. Nehal is a cunning and bitter twat of an imaginary friend who's only goal is to make Basim a more selfish kind of assassin and as assassins go that is unacceptable to the brotherhood. The creed comes before any individual pleasures and Basim wanted to see what he could become. Well, he does and the ending is awesome as Basim gets clawed for his antics throughout the game by Enkidu as the bird recognized that he became something else entirely. He was always destined to be Loki and Roshan should have ended him the moment she started noticing he was becoming more and more obsessed with finding out what secrets the artifact held about himself. It wasn't to see if he could help others and he even insinuates Roshan controlled him. Which isn't the case. Basim to start with says that »He is merely the son of a public servant who dedicated his life to the betterment of his people….. Only to slighted and forgotten. » So all this crap about basim not being evil to start with. Not at the very start but Basim was already a bitter man and he became resentful even back in the Abbasid Caliphate days. Basim is a good assassin. Nothing special though. But compare him to Bayek of Siwa and Basim literally sucks in every way, shape and form. Don't get me wrong I like what Basim stands for to start with. But as soon as he starts his stupid egotistical bs. That was it for me. Basim is so easy to hate and the game makes no qualms about showing you his true colors from the very outset. The game does have a decent story though. But basim is not a nice or well rounded assassin. He is a man whose only goal is to be something more than human. Which should yell you all you need to know about his own hubris in that particular aspect. Basim is like that nice kid who won't shut up about how much he should be this and that. Only to one day reach his goal and completely become a not so nice arrogant d'bag with one goal in mind. To be better than everyone else. That's my 2 cents as to what I understood from the game. Basim was ultimately always going to be the bad guy as he wanted more than what being a human had to offer. Arrogance personified is what Basim is.

❤️😁❤️. So it's an AC game, so how can you not love it if you love this series… I just found it really easy, the "bosses," I'd say, were so easy to kill… a little disappointed. The world exploration was great as usual, but I found the game was too quick for me to finish… I'm disappointed compared to the last three. But I still loved playing it. A few bugs, but it's okay. I still recommend it to 100%, it's still an AC game!

A more classic AC. So, how does Assassin's Creed Mirage measure up? Here's my honest opinion! 📸 Screenshots from my PS5 gameplay sessions using Quality mode. ✅ POSITIVES: - The return of stealth and parkour with greater freedom of approach to different mechanics (objects, crowds, notoriety, etc.), with an open world that encourages parkour. - The art direction is sublime; it's a real pleasure to explore Baghdad and its surroundings, the immersion is immediate. - The investigation system for progressing the story is fun and quite effective. - The plot is simple but enjoyable because the pacing is well-controlled. Basim is an endearing character. - The game's ending is excellent, a beautiful build-up accompanied by lovely writing. - The soundtrack and its music are top-notch, probably my favorite AC OST in a long time. - Reasonable length; the game sticks to the essentials, excluding any extraneous content. ❌ NEGATIVES: - The AI is still lacking. - The graphics are outdated. I also find it less visually appealing than Valhalla, especially regarding lighting and shadows. There's also too much chromatic aberration; it's glaringly obvious in the first few minutes of gameplay. An update should be released to mitigate this or allow players to disable it. - The combat is messy and reduced to the bare minimum. Assassination is clearly the preferred option. - The French dub is disappointing. ➡️ CONCLUSION (EDIT 10/21/23): I had a great time with AC Mirage because the game focuses on the core elements of the franchise: parkour, assassinations, and stealth. I loved following this adventure with Basim, and the ending provides a satisfying conclusion to this installment. The game length is reasonable and enjoyable because the extraneous content has been removed. This more traditional episode will appeal to veterans of the franchise, or those who grew tired of Valhalla's length and unnecessary padding. However, those who greatly appreciated the RPG formula, the breadth of activities, and the immense length of Valhalla are likely to be disappointed.

Received on time and perfect condition. I'm only 1 hour in and already this is a great direction for AC. Smooth combat and great see stealth back front an center rattan than the bloat of the last 3 entries. This is what I have been waiting for and we'll done to the small team of devs.Def recommend if you like old school style with a sprinkle of new. Tight narrative and great combat with multiple ways to take your foes down. This makes you feel like an assassin again. Hands down best game since syndicate and so far great story and absolutely stunning graphics on the ps5 great value for money. Don't listen to the haters try it for yourself.
