The pioneering stealth game series is back. METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 brings together the early days of the METAL GEAR gaming experience in a single package. Infiltrate enemy fortresses around the world, complete your missions discreetly, and discover the thrilling cinematic history of the METAL GEAR series.
Volume 1 includes the original titles from the beginning of the METAL GEAR series, including the original versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid (which also includes the VR Missions/Special Missions), as well as the HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
Each main title in the collection will also include an exclusive digital Screenplay Book and a Master Book detailing the game's story and characters. This collection comprises the complete classic versions of the games, with minimal changes to copyrighted content.
Volume 1 also contains a variety of bonus content, such as both regional versions of Metal Gear, the original version of Snake's Revenge, the first two Digital Graphic Novels in video format, and a digital soundtrack. Contents:

Game and box in French. I was worried it would be an English boxed edition. The box is indeed in French for this day one edition. What a pleasure to replay these games on a handheld console! You have to install the updates to fully enjoy these games; you can play in full screen or in 4:3 like back in the day. Personally, I prefer 16:9 in full screen.

RAT PT O1 – LALILULELO. A classic that will remain etched in the memories of gamers who experienced this saga. It's quite an experience, and words fail me to describe this epic. Game changer, visionary, evolutionary, incredibly profound, the story is breathtaking, especially in parts 1 and 2. Stunning cutscenes, extraordinary art direction. These games were 20 years ahead of their time in every way. That's very rare and doesn't happen often. For newcomers, if you enjoy military action and aren't too put off by the retro feel of the early games, dive in without hesitation. Hideo Kojima and his entire team at Konami back then were something else. Hundreds of innovative gameplay ideas, groundbreaking visuals, top-notch cinematics, a masterful soundtrack, and that incredible story. I know I'm repeating myself, but don't hesitate!
