Description
In 2090, people around the world fight each other using war machines called Wanzers to settle their conflicts. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union (OCU) and the Unified Continental States (UCS) share a common border, is a hotbed of conflict.
An OCU reconnaissance platoon led by Captain Royd Clive is tasked with investigating a UCS munitions factory. UCS Wanzers ambush them, triggering a chain of events that plunges the entire island back into war. Royd's fiancée, Lieutenant Karen Meure, is reported missing in action.
When Royd is sent back to civilian life, he begins investigating Karen's disappearance. His quest will lead him to the heart of the conspiracy behind the incident and to the very heart of the various powers that orchestrated it.

An edition that's anything but "limited," as is so often the case. Given that the game is already heavily discounted, it's safe to assume it's either underselling or overproduced. Far too much to be called a "Limited Edition." Except for the cardboard sleeve around the case... The worst part is the sellers on Amazon who dare to offer it for €70! Choose carefully before you buy. As for the game itself, no complaints; it's a real treat to see this franchise back on the Switch after so many years!

This is a cool remaster to have for the collection on the Nintendo Switch. This is a challenging game, even if you are a veteran to grid-based strategy games. But I still had a ton of fun with it. Great graphics and art style, fun soundtrack.

If before you played Front Mission, this remake will serve you as a perfectly decent introduction to the venerable tactical series.

A high-quality remake. The first two missions are tutorials, it's old-school... But once you're in the game, if you like tactical games and you're patient, then this game is for you (I should point out that it's old-school with success percentages... And that's part of the game, it brings frustration sometimes but also satisfaction when you hit something... Plus, the maps are very well designed, the mechs are really customizable... The game has a long lifespan, because beating it on hard is possible but requires a lot of thought, on normal the challenge is there and there's an easy mode if you don't want to stress yourself out... I finished it in 40 hours on hard, this game will take you 30 hours on normal (the playtimes on the internet are speedrunners, I read for example 20 hours for Cyberpunk, it's possible but you don't get the most out of it in my opinion). I loved it and I can't wait to see the second one physically because I know it, it's the same but with added features Regarding mech customization… I hope this has been helpful, have a good day ☺️
