Save the Silverhead Republic. You're its only hope! Take control of one of the Striker aircraft or the Zeppelin equipped with an aerial mine launcher and wreak havoc in Steel Empire. Shoot enemies in front of and behind you, and use bombs to eliminate ground targets. Devastating attacks are also available should you ever find yourself in a tight spot. Fight your way through seven challenging, balanced, and action-packed shoot 'em up levels, where you'll engage in thrilling boss battles.
Steel Empire was released on a 16-bit console during the golden age of shoot 'em ups in the early 90s. Since then, the game has been ported to handheld consoles. The Legend of Steel Empire is the latest installment in the series. This HD remaster is based on the PC game released a few years ago, but includes some additions: all the graphics have been enhanced to high definition and the controls have been reworked.
