S.Ughetti –
A Terrifying and Captivating Experience, but with Some Areas for Improvement. Resident Evil Village on PS5 delivers an intense horror experience that is sure to captivate players. The graphics are stunning, with chilling visual details that immerse players in the heart of the horror. The varied environments and macabre creatures add a tangible dimension to the game's nightmarish atmosphere. The story is intriguing, full of mystery and plot twists, while continuing the narrative arc of the Resident Evil series. The characters are well-developed, each with their own set of enigmas and dramas. The gameplay is solid, combining action, exploration, and puzzles in a balanced way. However, despite these strengths, there are a few aspects that could be improved. Some moments in the story can feel a little confusing, occasionally leaving players perplexed. Furthermore, while the combat is well-designed, there can be moments when the difficulty feels a bit unbalanced. Despite these reservations, Resident Evil Village remains a memorable experience for horror game enthusiasts. The next-gen graphics, captivating story, and terrifying moments make it a worthy addition to Capcom's iconic series. With a few tweaks, it would easily have earned a 5/5. A must-play for survival horror fans.

Carefully packaged. Used item as described, "very good condition". Package prepared with care and well protected! No issues with the game.

Captivating, even if you don't like horror. I'm not a fan of horror games, but I loved it! Gorgeous graphics, immersive atmosphere, and smooth gameplay. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

A very good Resident Evil game. A great game for fans of the genre. (Resident Evil) Some parts are not always easy with crazy zombies. I had a blast.

It's party time in the village, and things are about to get intense. The 8th installment in a franchise that began in 1996 on the PS1. After the failure of Resident Evil 6 and the success of first-person horror games ("Outlast," "Layers of Fear," "Slender," etc.), Capcom decided with RE 7 to follow the trend and relaunch its franchise with new characters: Ethan Winters and his wife Mia. RE 7 being a huge success, Capcom capitalized by releasing an 8th installment, blending the atmosphere of the very popular RE 4 with the gameplay of RE 7. The story: while Ethan and Mia are trying to move on from the events of RE 7, they have rebuilt their lives in Romania, far from the USA, and are raising their baby, Rose. Unfortunately, things quickly become complicated, and Rose is kidnapped. Ethan sets off in search of her and finds himself trapped in a village isolated from the world, not to mention the surrounding area which seems teeming with monstrous creatures. I won't reveal any more because the plot, however simplistic, is still a significant source of motivation for the player. - Gameplay: The game is played in first-person and, unfortunately for fans, it's no longer possible to play the adventure in VR as in the previous installment. While the first two hours are a bit disappointing because the player feels like they're moving through corridors (not to mention the numerous invisible walls), the second quarter of the game offers a more oppressive atmosphere focused on puzzles, which reignites interest and prevents boredom. The last two quarters are also interesting to play; clearly, the developers have tried to keep things interesting and surprise the player. - So, is "Resident EVL 8 - Village" a good game? Personally, I had a blast and found it hard to put down the controller after the first two hours. The atmosphere is well-crafted, the game is less gory and gritty than RE 7, but some sections are quite stressful and deliver a real thrill. Why "only" 4 out of 5? Because of ONE major problem: this game is supposed to be a survival horror game, a game where you fight to stay alive, and the issue is that it's too EASY! I had to play for four hours before seeing a Game Over screen! Okay, granted, I've been playing video games for over 30 years, but still! So, it's hard to really fear for your life when you never die. I think I'll replay the game on hard mode to see what happens. It's a shame, it was almost the perfect game.

PS4. Great games

A good Resident Evil game. As a collector, as always, thanks to the seller NeoAyato for getting me a French edition of the game that I couldn't find in stores anymore, and Amazon is always great with delivery to a pickup point 👍 This Resident Evil Village is a good installment, but I prefer 7, which is a bit scarier (especially in VR). In short, it's good entertainment, just like the Capcom team always knows how to make, thanks to them 😄👍

Perfect gift and quality game. I gave Resident Evil Village on PS4 as a gift and the recipient was absolutely delighted. The game works perfectly, no issues encountered, and the quality is top-notch. Smooth and stable gameplay on PS4. Graphics and atmosphere are very well done. A much-appreciated gift, perfect for fans of the series. Excellent game, perfect as a gift or for enjoying a quality experience on PS4.

The visuals and atmosphere are a resounding success. A fantastic game; as a Resident Evil fan, I can only recommend it despite a few plot inconsistencies. It's beautiful, oh yes, and the varied environments make it enjoyable. The bestiary is decent and entertaining, and the atmosphere is top-notch, despite a few slightly repetitive chase sequences (the father from 7 swapped for a beautiful young woman...). In short, it's a great sequel to 7, and MINI SPOILER: it makes a rather nice little connection to the story of the Umbrella founder 😉

A pleasant surprise. Good game, I had a great time, good story, magnificent on Xbox Series X with ray tracing. A bit short for my taste, finished in 9 hours on normal, I'd like to see it on hard. There's just one really scary moment that I really liked, otherwise not much fear, you just move forward without being scared, which is a shame for a survival horror game, you'd want to move backwards... slowly. But it's still an excellent game, very well written, a must-play... I recommend it.
Aurelio –
Absolutely insane! As a huge Resident Evil fan, especially since the franchise switched to FPS, it's a pleasure to rediscover our tormented and mistreated character from the previous installment in a story that takes place right after the events of 7. The graphics are beautiful and meticulously crafted, the atmosphere is top-notch, Capcom knows what they're doing, and the village setting does justice to 4 (my favorite). The playtime is like other Resident Evil games (7-8 hours the first time), then 3 hours after that. A mercenary mode (already present in 5) adds extra content. I bought it for €45 at launch (lower price guaranteed with Amazon). I highly recommend this game. Happy gaming everyone!

Resident Evil Village. This is one of the best Resident Evil games. I can't wait to play it.
Perfect –
Good game. An 8th installment that's pretty much on par with the previous one. It deviates from the series' roots in terms of story, but the plot is enjoyable.
Perfect –
Delighted with my purchase. I'm thrilled I made this purchase because, having finished Resident Evil 7 twice, I can finally play the next installment on PS5. I can't wait to see what our dear friend Capcom has in store for us. The package was shipped quickly and the delivery time was incredibly fast. .

I recommend it. A very good game that I recommend.

Game is okay. My first Resident Evil game in first-person mode. It's different, but it's alright. A bit more horror than the third-person versions.

Still unopened. Product is in perfect condition and still unsealed. 1-day delivery was fantastic! However, I haven't played it yet because I bought 20 games at once and this will be one of the last I try.

My boyfriend is a huge fan. A huge zombie fan, so for his birthday it was a wonderful surprise to try out the headset, which he also received as a gift. I highly recommend it; I'm not a zombie fan myself, but in VR it's definitely worth trying. A pure masterpiece.
Zewigman –
Played with a PSVR 2 only. Same observation as with RE 4 Remake: since discovering VR on PS5, the gaming world has changed for me! Village is simply horrific, stressful, breathtaking, and gorgeous all at once. The environments are stunning (the castle 🙂 🙂). Every sensation is amplified in VR. In short, this title is a gem. I hope VR patches for future Resident Evil games will be standard. In any case, there's no going back for me in terms of how I play. 🙂
