Description
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, everything was green and lush. Unicorns mingled with the trees, and elves and humans lived in harmony with their surroundings. Yet, somewhere at the edge of a clearing half-hidden by trees, obscured by a veil of fog rising from the misty gloom of a weather-beaten hut, a figure huddled over a large crystal ball with an eerie glow. A voice whispered ancient incantations, urging the swirling mists within the crystal to part and offer a glimpse into the future.
‘'Everything is in motion, nothing seems certain. Come, O whims of space and time, part the veil and show us what is yet to come,' the voice grumbles, blinking an eye that dimly reflects the glow before its hood. The shape's audience, barely visible in the dim light, leans closer and listens intently. 'Time flows and ebbs, forming pools and ripples… but when the mists dissipate, only vague images emerge from the other side of the veil. Don't come too close, you wouldn't want to disturb my delicate magical weavings, would you?' The shape, still leaning over the orb, mutters and pushes the other a little further into the shadows. 'Ah, it seems the sky is clearing a little. I can see… something… several things, voices echoing in the mist.' A baby, something happening on Doom Hill, and the gathering of the Serpent Council – what could it all mean?’
In a flash, the light reflected in the eye turns red, and a distant, malevolent laugh echoes through the woods. Stay tuned for the return of the Evil Seer!
Absolute evil and his faithful servant, the dark elf Thalya, return in Dungeons 4 after the events of its fabulous predecessor to triumph once again over the forces of good.
Build a cozy and comfortable dungeon to cater to your creatures' needs and rule over them, then send them to the Overworld to gently remind the good people who live there that Absolute Evil reigns in their lands. Gather your evil forces in new and dynamic ways and unleash them upon the Overworld's forests and verdant plains to turn them to the dark side. But make sure your dungeon is well-secured with traps and defended by your creatures, because the inhabitants of the Otherworld won't sit idly by while you transform their lands into a holiday paradise for Absolute Evil.
But what is that noise? 'Gold, gold, gold and precious stones, gold and precious stones and gold!' The ancient song echoes throughout the underworld, accompanied by the clanking of hammers and axes. The Dwarves have arrived to claim their share of the abundant resources, and, along with the Elves and Humans of the Otherworld, they are sending their raiding parties in search of the heart of the Dungeon.
Dungeons 4 retains the spirit of its predecessor, but everything is now bigger, better, and with an even more dynamic Evilness™.

Dungeons 4 retains the spirit of its predecessor, but everything is now bigger, better, and with an even more dynamic Evilness™.
- Everything is better with dwarves™: the dwarves have come to build their underground fortresses and these sturdy little companions (though they don't like to be called that) are competing with ever-expanding Evil to conquer space and resources.
- Your dungeon has been restored to its former glory: dungeons are four times larger than before, and many more creatures await the commands of all-powerful Evil to conquer the Underworld. Welcome to massive armies and gigantic dungeons!
- Conquest awaits: the Underworld is bigger than ever. Grow in Wickedness by defeating mini-bosses like the obsessively harmonious unicorn and transform the Underworld into stunning biomes of pure evil.
- Exciting new features: a perk system based on the abilities of Thalya, the faithful *cough* and loyal subordinate of Absolute Evil, grants her impressive new powers. Absolute Evil can now conquer the world, rule creatures, and slap its subordinates with the customizable Hand of Evil.
- Minions are everywhere: the horde, the undead, and the demons all await their turn to obey absolute Evil. With more creatures than ever eagerly following the orders of this gesticulating Evil, the Snotlouts will play a much larger role.
- Many ways to tell the story: a long campaign, narrated by the beloved English narrator from previous titles, as well as several skirmishes, all designed to challenge your reign as absolute Evil.
- Change the world: spread your Evil in the Otherworld to tip lush, green environments to the dark side, which shine even brighter when you spread evil across many new biomes.
- Work together, kill together: the 2-player cooperative multiplayer mode lets two players manage a dungeon together. All skirmish and campaign maps are playable in co-op.

Bugged. Bugged, slow, unplayable on (Xbox Series X) despite the latest patch. Units/mobs disappearing, crashes… Developers contacted through their customer service, the response… The game is no longer supported, we cannot help you.
Ismael Sanz Blanco –
Estupendo y entrenido juego que supera con creces al anterior aunque se repitiendo casi si la misma formula. If you enjoy the game management games this is the only game you can see. Dubbed and translated into Spanish and included with humorous hats.
Jonathan Jeanson –
Not bad, but... The game promises a bit of a dream, but I was disappointed upon receiving it. The graphics aren't amazing, and the gameplay itself is incredibly easy to pick up. The storyline is basic for this type of game. Conclusion: For the price, it's okay, it's decent, but nothing more.
