Stray is a third-person adventure game where you play as a cat exploring the neon-lit streets and seedy underbelly of a decaying cyber-city with highly detailed environments. Explore every nook and cranny, defend yourself against unexpected threats, and unravel the mysteries of this inhospitable place populated by strange droids and dangerous creatures.
Discover the world through the eyes of a cat and interact with the environment in playful ways. You'll need to be stealthy, agile, and imaginative, and sometimes even annoy the unusual inhabitants of this mysterious world.
During the adventure, the cat will befriend a small flying drone named B-12. Together, they will have to find a way out.

An indie game that's definitely worth checking out. You play as a cat who, after a fall, finds himself in an abandoned underground "city." The goal is to reach the surface. Gameplay-wise, it's quite fun to play a cat and be able to do totally pointless but role-playing things (sleep, sharpen your claws on a rug, meow, knock over paint cans, etc.). Otherwise, it's a rather contemplative game with platforming and puzzle sections, all within levels that are sometimes linear, sometimes open. The game is short, so don't hesitate to explore everything, try things out... I spent about 5 hours and 30 minutes on my first playthrough, visiting everything possible. I won't go into the story, which, while not revolutionary (it's been done before), still manages to evoke some emotion. The game truly has a story to tell with a coherent universe (albeit a small one, which is where the limitations of independent production become apparent). Finally, in terms of art direction and visuals, it's very polished with some nice effects. All in all, a fantastic journey that I highly recommend.

A novel where you play the main character. I enjoyed it, knowing what I was getting into by reading reviews and comments from members of specialized websites that don't contain spoilers. If you're looking for action, you'll be disappointed. It's a logic game, a bit of dexterity, and above all, a narrative (short, about 20 hours of gameplay). This editorial choice makes the game's progression linear. It's not an open world because each part of the world to explore is a chapter in itself. However, it's not devoid of exploration either. The ending is worthy of a novel, leaving questions unanswered. It's a game I'll play twice. The first time without the walkthroughs available online (I've already finished it), and the second time with the walkthroughs because there are side quests that are only discovered through extensive exploration, and it's not easy to find them all without it becoming too time-consuming.
