Good controller. Controller received on December 27th, used with a reptile since December 30th. I own the original Elite, and to make a long story short, the Elite 2 is twice as good as the original. Microsoft has fixed the general grip issues on the body and sticks, as well as the play in the operation of all the buttons (buttons, triggers, air trigger, etc.), resulting in a better fit. They've also fixed the controller's vibration, which is no longer like a jackhammer like my first Elite. Did my controller have a defect in that area? I don't know. New features: - 3 preset triggers, compared to 2 for the first one. - Integrated battery in the controller body with USB-C charging, on a charging cradle with a magnetic base in the case, so the USB cable passes through the case... OR The magnetic cradle detaches and you place it on the TV stand or elsewhere, plug it in, and place the controller on it to charge... OR You plug it in The USB cable on the nose of the controller allows for wired play because, yes, there's enough USB cable to charge the controller while playing, just like in the old days of the original Xbox. Those who remember those early days will be thrilled 😂. - Shorter and crisper air triggers - The joystick bodies are adjustable in three positions: soft, medium, and hard. Using the included screwdriver, you remove the sticks from the joysticks, and in their center is a small, white, 3-position plastic potentiometer that you rotate left to right to select the setting. - Battery charge indicator (obviously, for an integrated battery) - 3 positions for saving gameplay settings, compared to 2 for the first one. - As for battery life, well, I didn't charge it when I first unboxed it, and the controller already has 6 hours of playtime. There's no flashing charging indicator, so we can expect serious battery life. From underground player to pro player - the four paddles on the back of the controller have a new, shorter profile. Conclusion: This Elite 2 makes you want to play; it's comfortable in the hands, and I have 195mm long hands with fairly wide palms. So far, it hasn't slipped out of my hands like that, which happened a few times with the first one. The buttons are easier to use and a little quieter. The only negative point I have, and it concerns my long fingers, is the paddles on the back. As I said, they're a bit shorter, but their orientation could have benefited from wider coverage along the back of the controller. So, that's my opinion based on experience; it will differ depending on the user's hand size. I bought it on sale, and I think it's worth it. I'll come back in a few months, if necessary, to update my analysis of the Elite 2.

Xbox Elite Series 2. Given some negative reviews, I was skeptical. I've often had controller issues, and I don't think I'm being overly demanding, but when you spend that much on an accessory, you expect quality, of course, but also a certain level of long-term reliability. We'll see how it holds up over time, after several weeks and months, but for now, everything seems fine. I must admit that the impression of a truly premium product is evident even in the packaging; the box is quite heavy. Upon opening it, the controller is indeed stunning, the finish is incredible, and the materials are high quality. The accessories are a welcome addition, even if most of the joysticks will probably be useless to me. The paddles are a plus for some games but can be a hindrance for others, though they are easily removable. The grip on the handles is very comfortable. The triggers are superbly finished. A slight disappointment, however, with the ABXY buttons on the front, which are a little sticky. I hope it's because they're new and that it will become less noticeable with use. For now, it's a very nice controller that connects and disconnects from my Bluetooth dongle without any problems. The braided cable is very long and also high quality, and the charging station, which attaches magnetically to the controller and also to the carrying case, is quite well-designed and convenient to use. As mentioned before, we'll see how it holds up over time. I hope I don't have to return it due to faulty buttons or triggers, especially considering the price of this controller… Edit: After 3 months and minimal use, both joysticks have developed drift, especially the right one, which obviously renders the controller unusable. Very disappointing given the price. I'll have to settle for another controller. It's a shame, because I really liked the finish on this one.
