It's beeeeaaauuu… 😁. A really good game, I wasn't familiar with it, really taking advantage of the Xbox Series X's capabilities… It's beautiful, fluid, and easy to control. And not riddled with bugs like MW2 was at launch!!! I recommend it… You'll still need to install the update before playing. Thank goodness for fiber optic internet, which I don't have… 🙄

Very good game – disc + entirely in French. Excellent game, very beautiful. The voices are in French, it's a disc, but a major update needs to be downloaded during installation, as is the case for almost all games these days. No complaints, promises many hours of entertainment!

A Plague Tale: Innocence was probably the biggest surprise in the gaming industry back in 2020 and delivered engaging story and gameplay. A Plague Tale: Requiem continues where the first game left off and is just a good if not better and ends the story in a surprising but satisfying way. This is a must play for any action game enthusiast, but play the A Plague Tale: Innocence first if you haven't.

When I first started A Plague Tale for a two-hour test (after downloading it), I didn't expect to be so captivated by the game. I had to play it again later, immerse myself in the story… and I was instantly hooked. I had to get past the initially repulsive (and unsettling) aspect of the swarming rats and the improbable gameplay with Hugo, but in the end, what had surprised me most undoubtedly contributed to my being transported. The soundtrack, by turns oppressive, dark, unsettling, poetic, and peaceful; the atmosphere, both tranquil and pestilential; the relationship between Amicia and Hugo—this game managed to be both touching and intense. I stumbled upon an unexpected gem, which then led me to play the sequel, which moved me to tears. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This game takes everything good from the first game, and makes it GREAT! Repetitive, but in a fun way! The combat has improved but what is most important in this series is the puzzle solving and the incredible story and acting! Play it just for the story and puzzles and you'll embark on a journey full of hope in amidst a world of despair! A must play/buy!

This is like if uncharted and last of us had a baby in a medieval setting with slight birth defects. This game maintains the stealth oriented action adventure, emotional story, gameplay loops, puzzle frequencies from those games. I was a major fan of the prequel and first game, 'innocence' that game was a total masterpiece. I fell in love and have done multiple play throughs which is ultra rare for me, for me to play a game twice I have to really Enjoy it. Out of 10 games I will only achieve multiple play throughs on about two.This game was good but not great, I wasn't addicted and I was not bothered about booting up and playing, when on the first game I was very addicted it was in my mind constantly. Upon completing the original I was Googling a second game for many months until this was announced.Dislike:Hugo is a very unlikeable he is constantly annoying to a stage where you wish he would shut up.Game was quite clunky on release however an update may have settled this now.It felt shorter than the original.Advantages:Stunning to look at one of the best graphical games I have played, I played on Samsungs flagship QN90B 55inch TV, HDR it's their best QLED TV and best for gaming, was truly remarkable.

This game is just phenomenal, from the graphics to the gameplay and the story the game is in my opinion after playing the first a plague tale a 10/10 game, the developers listened to the communities comments on the first game and made the second game the game we all wanted I bought this on xbox, pc and ps5 just to have 3 different experiences, that's how good this game is, highly recommended can't praise this game enough.

This game is a step up from the first one “Innocence” (which itself was a brilliant game) It is a very story driven game which is what makes this game for me. Combat has drastically improved since the last game and there are more options available on how to proceed in combat situations. For example, in the last game it was very stealth heavy but in Requiem there's more choice on what you can do. Whether it's stealth or engaging in direct combat. The added addition of a crossbow is also good.I found that Requiem improved a lot on the gameplay from the first game.The characters are still incredibly written and the voice acting blew me away. The music is also beautiful and adds so much to the game. I downloaded the soundtrack on Apple Music as soon as I started playing as I loved it so much.Graphically this game is one of the best I've played on the PS5. Apparently this game only runs in 30 FPS but honestly I did not notice it or care as this game is stunning regardless and the story makes you want more as you play.Highly recommend this game and the first one. I find it disappointing that some people are giving it low ratings due to the frame rate. This has become one of my all time favorite games.

This game from the French studio ASOBO is a little gem. The story is captivating and the gameplay very enjoyable. The playtime is quite respectable for a title of this type. Expect around 20 hours, a little more for 100%. If you like narrative-driven single-player games, then go for it; you'll have a great time.

The original A Plague Tale, released in 2019, made a strong impression with its original story set against the backdrop of the plague. A Plague Tale Requiem follows the events of the first game (and I don't want to spoil anything for those who want to start these two gems). Expect an even more mature game, both sad and violent. Because yes, the plague wreaked havoc during that era, and what we can say is that these villages, clean on one side and filthy on the other, are very well rendered. It's incredibly beautiful; Olivier de Rivière's music is simply fabulous and perfectly complements the ongoing action. The game isn't a linear open world like Uncharted, maintaining its constant tension. Once again, the game is beautiful, even stunning, bigger and longer than the first episode. The story is poignant and, above all, violent. The same violence as back then, and you can feel it. Not to mention that our heroes didn't ask for this, and we even experience certain passages with them. It happened to me several times; I felt like I was right there with them in that hell, with its morbid weight and oppressive, constant hunt. Because yes, you'll have to be cunning, hide, survive, and get help from rats in this hell. The gameplay mechanics are varied in Amicia, perhaps even a little too much at times, as you have to juggle the slingshot, flames, mud, smoke grenades, etc. And sometimes, it's easy to get lost. That's the criticism I have. Asobo wanted to diversify Amicia's actions but overdid it. As for the rest, it's pretty standard fare: wheels to turn, doors to open… Be very careful to conserve your flammable ammunition, because without it you'll be even more stressed. In conclusion, A Plague Tale: Requiem is truly a next-gen game (beautiful in both its content and presentation). Its story is magnificent, even amidst the horror, and rivals the games of Naughty Dog or Santa Monica Studios. If you try this adventure, you won't come back unscathed, that's for sure, but you will have experienced a truly fabulous story. For your information, the game is entirely in French, with or without subtitles.

Not a game, but an experience—a magnificent and wonderful experience. First, the graphics: superb work in both textures and historical research, and in French no less! Bravo to this small studio for producing such a gem. The story: the era of the Great Plague. Yes, I know that doesn't mean much these days; on the contrary, it's a bit like putting your finger on what scares us and conquering it. And the Black Death was a terrible scourge. The characters: a sister and her brother. You play as one, sometimes the other, and sometimes both. You can't say that initially, hunting them both down isn't a good idea, but the sister's ingenuity and the brother's curiosity allow you to survive, because that's what it's all about: the cities are ravaged by the disease, and few will go against the Church. Yes, the Church will be our enemy, and in this era, power is great and unquestionable for its adversaries, these young heroes. The gameplay is good, the storyline is more than well done, and the period setting is well-documented. The game maintains a brisk pace. The only drawback is its rather short length, but considering the current price of the game and the fact that there's no equivalent for this kind of period game, and that it's entirely in French with excellent voice acting, I recommend it. I gave this video game as a birthday present for my sweetheart. He absolutely loved it; he really enjoyed the world, the story, and the amazing soundtrack. It's a great game to treat yourself to or give as a gift to someone who loves survival games. I highly recommend it; you'll make someone very happy.
