An exceptional journey. Tested on PS5 Pro after update 2.0. An absolutely fantastic game. Having played all the From Software games and a good dozen other Souls-like titles, I'm standing up to the naysayers and highly recommending this game. There are a few slowdowns in certain areas, but they don't spoil the experience at all. In my top 3 Souls-like games. A must-play!

Because you're going to be blown away by this game since it takes place mainly in the desert but also in some ruins etc... to discover... »Humor Two of us on the sand, eyes in the water, my dream was so beautiful, in co-op with my friend, the game up above made hot sand, ti la la la li la, li la la laaaaa, la la la laaa la la 😁...on the sunny beach, seashells and monstracés (sand monsters), fine sand and...oh! sorry! I'm getting carried away 😂 So, let's get back to the point... » End of humor 😁✔ For an AA game, I say bravo to FOCUS Entertainment as well as Dek13 Interactive for making this game which really deserves a good 4 stars! More seriously; I wasn't expecting much from Atlas Fallen, but I have to admit I quite liked it, even though it's not without its flaws! It's definitely worth taking the time to play, and that's what I did, and I don't regret it at all, even though I always felt like the game was missing something to make it perfect! You play as a character (the hero), male or female, equipped with a gauntlet of great magical power, who must fight various creatures to increase its power in order to defeat THELOS, the "Sun God". I'll let you discover it for yourselves… The game's story is decent but could be better and more original…◾ NOTE: ATLAS FALLEN – RUIN RISING PACK – The download code included in the game box is valid until May 15, 2025.◾ NOTE: Atlas Fallen has English or German voice acting and is subtitled in various languages, including French. My only minor complaint is that you can't choose the subtitle font size, which I find really small. Hopefully, this will be fixed in a future update…?◾ NOTE! BREAKING NEWS!: Focus Entertainment and Dek13 Interactive have announced that an enhanced version of the game is in development and is currently being released. This might mean that either the game will be re-released in a physical version with significantly more content, new features, and bug fixes to make it a more complete edition (there are no specific details regarding this enhanced version at the time of writing); or it will be a major update via a patch or DLC. This would be available (this is tentative) during the second and third quarters of this year (2024)... Hopefully, this enhanced or special edition will bring new features and a truly complete polish to the game as a whole. Personally, I believe it will 😉 It's a little slow to start (be patient!), but it gradually gets going with a fairly quick and easy learning curve. Atlas Fallen is a third-person game that I really enjoyed. An action RPG that can be played solo or entirely in online co-op, which is really fun! The environments are beautiful and well-made, but could be better, and the exploration is truly enjoyable. In Atlas Fallen, by revealing sealed totems in the ground, you trigger a beam mechanism that you must traverse within a time limit to reach the next totem and discover sealed relics. These relics materialize as chests, which contain bonuses at the end of the path…✔ All the ingredients could be there, and even if everything is far from perfect in the game—like the false depth effects I experienced, perhaps due to a lack of sharpness or detail—it remains beautiful overall and makes you want to linger despite its flaws. At times, I felt that the ground didn't always seem very tangible! There are some good ideas that are poorly executed, and a certain lack of polish overall prevents it from being an excellent game. It really doesn't need much to become a must-have! It's still a good game, which I give a solid 4 stars and a 16/20. In my opinion, the game lacks a bit of vibrancy, but it's not a major drawback. Nevertheless, it remains quite immersive and makes you want to explore further on the map, which isn't exactly an open world. A photo mode is included. As of this writing, there's no New Game Plus feature, but perhaps it will be added in a future update… The combat is dynamic, energetic, very aerial, and stylish! I really like it! You can also customize your character's armor as well as their appearance. You can upgrade: The armor, The gauntlets. The bestiary is good but not diverse enough for my taste! The character's movements are fast and glide like a kitesurfer on the sea, but here it's on the sand without the board or the sail 😉 Guaranteed effect! Atlas Fallen has three difficulty levels: - 1 STORY OF A NAMELESS ONE (EASY) The fights are less difficult and you can focus on the characters and the story. - 2 WEARER OF THE GUNTLET (NORMAL) A balanced experience that allows you to adapt your play style to the events and characters you encounter. - 3 THE SCOURGE OF THELOS (HARD) The most difficult experience, in which you must face the toughest opponents. Use all the game's mechanics to overcome this challenge. You can also teleport using the anvils in the game. I was pleasantly surprised by Atlas Fallen, which really transported me to another world! 🙂 Will you be the hero who saves humanity…? 🙂 Have fun and enjoy surfing on the sunny sand! 😉

Good game. A very good game, it's a shame it's only available in English with French subtitles, making it difficult to follow the story. It's a co-op game, but I recommend playing solo if you want to fully understand the story because each player can talk to different NPCs, but only the person directly in front of the NPC hears what they say. If two of you are in front of the same NPC, you'll both hear the same thing. So, it's difficult to follow the story properly in co-op.
