- THE STORY OF THE SUSPENDED CONTINENT
Long ago, humans faced an evil god in a terrible conflict. They managed to seal the evil god away, but the war left behind only a desolate land. Humans then abandoned this land to go and live in the sky.
These tales became legends. Humans grew Wings of the Heart and lived peaceful lives. This era was long and tranquil… But its collapse had begun.
This story begins when a young man calls out the name of a guardian spirit. A story that unfolds on a continent suspended in the air, where thoughts and prayers intertwine.
- A BLEND OF RPG AND CARD GAME
In the world of "Baten Kaitos," everything possesses the essence of magna and can be sealed onto cards before reverting to its original form if necessary. These cards, called "Magnus," are unique to this game. Each character has their own deck of "Magnus" cards, which they can select to attack or heal. Attack power is determined by the attributes and card combinations randomly generated by the deck.
