A keyboard that steals the show. I was looking for a keyboard with quiet keystrokes, a volume control, and backlighting. Here it is, from Corsair, no less. After several weeks of use, here's what I've found: - As I mentioned, the keyboard noise is acceptable, allowing me to play in the living room without disturbing others; - The volume control (for music) works perfectly, especially with Deezer playing in the background while gaming; - The backlighting is vibrant and dynamic. Be careful with the intensity when you first use it; use the dedicated button to adjust it to your liking. - Speaking of backlighting, by downloading the "Corsair iCUE" software, the backlighting on your various devices activates based on your in-game actions. It's quite an amazing experience. - The macro keys on the right are extremely useful once you start using them regularly. It revolutionized my gameplay. - The palm rest wasn't a requirement, but I think I couldn't do without it now. I think this keyboard will last me for years; it's my second Corsair keyboard and I've never been disappointed so far. Excellent product.

Excellent keyboard. Excellent value for money. My Logitech G510s just died (I paid over €100 for it back then…), so I had to find a worthy replacement. After hesitating quite a bit between much more expensive keyboards (K95 RGB, Razer BlackWidow Chroma…), I decided to settle for this "little" K55 and I absolutely don't regret it! It has beautiful 3-zone RGB backlighting with nice animations, macro and multimedia keys, and a wrist rest (an important feature for me). So yes, there are better ones… but they're much more expensive! So what does it lack compared to a €200 keyboard? 1 – Mechanical keys. Personally, I tried them on the K95. I find them too noisy and not very versatile. The membrane keys on the K55 are very good! 2 – An aluminum chassis? What's the point, you might ask? Limiting deformation…personally, I never press down on my keyboards with all my might… However, it does add a touch of premium quality, that's undeniable. But the K55 isn't bad either; the plastics are nice. 3 – Customizable backlighting key by key…yes, indeed, on the most expensive keyboards, you can customize the backlighting key by key and produce cool effects…waves, etc… I was quite tempted, but I was sure that after playing around with it for a few days, I'd end up going back to a more classic backlight. So it seems a bit gimmicky to me. 4 – A braided USB cable. No, the cable isn't braided here, but since the keyboard doesn't move from my desk, I don't see a problem. 5 – The headphone and microphone jacks…this is what I dislike the most, because with my G510s, I got used to connecting my headset directly to the keyboard, and it was very convenient! I found the solution: I dug out the USB sound card that came with my ASUS Orion Pro headset and I select the sound card directly from Windows, so I no longer have to constantly plug and unplug the headset. 6 – A USB hub… but personally, I have four USB ports on the front of my PC and that's more than enough for me… So, in the end, I'd say that this K55 offers the essentials without the frills at a very competitive price! To get a keyboard that offers all the features listed above, you'll have to be prepared to spend considerably more… which makes you think twice about the usefulness of all this.

i received the keyboard as new but covered with dust and even cats hairs. Product smells like new but was dirty. I don't know what's happening. But does the job

I've owned many mechanical keyboards; this one has a membrane keyboard, but it's just as efficient with fewer drawbacks, and in my opinion, it's certainly more durable. Its backlighting is very attractive, and the wrist rest is a big plus. What I like less are the "Elgato" shortcut keys on the left; they shift the typing direction. It's worth noting that they can be reprogrammed to include functions other than "Elgato.".
