I highly recommend it. It's a very nice console, it works very well, and now I can play with my grandchildren.

Red is not dead. A truly beautiful machine, entirely dressed in red (the back and the buttons on the top edge as well), well-finished and very pleasing to the eye. Having upgraded from a model I bought at launch to this OLED version, the screen is a real improvement over the old one. The photos don't necessarily do it justice, but it's a beautiful object; the small Mario details, though subtle, are always a nice touch. I obviously recommend it to newcomers to the Switch (do those even still exist?) or to those like me who have an aging Switch and want to be able to play and keep a well-maintained, undamaged model. Note for those who don't know: the storage capacity increases from 32GB on the base model to 64GB on the OLED model. It's not a huge increase, but it's a welcome bonus, even if SDHC cards are now incredibly cheap. Finally, be aware that if you have an SDHC card and plan to upgrade to this new model, you will have to redownload ALL your games; only save data and account information (images, videos, etc.) can be transferred.
