A very good game. Dragon Ball is back! And it's great! As a big fan of the franchise, especially the Budokai series, I really enjoyed playing this installment. For me, it's a very faithful adaptation of the manga with one of the best combat systems. The graphics are fantastic, and you almost feel like you're watching the anime. The controls are a bit complex at first but become intuitive in the long run. There are many characters, but unfortunately, several are only available as DLC, so you have to pay again… The story mode is quite comprehensive but very easy; the other modes are more suited to experienced players and much more difficult! The Switch version also benefits from being portable, allowing you to play wherever you want. The graphics quality is slightly lower than the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions, but it's still very well done. I gave it four stars because I think it's a shame that some of the unlockable characters require payment. It's still a very good game that's worth buying!

Best DBZ game. The title says it all. This game is excellent; I have it on PS4 and I'm getting it again on Switch so I can play it on the patio in the summer, in front of the BBQ, under a parasol, nice and relaxed. However, the loading times between fights are brutal compared to the PlayStation version…

The best fighting game in the DBZ universe. Clearly: there's no comparison in terms of fighting games, it's by far the best. With exceptional graphics, fluid gameplay, and an atmosphere that perfectly captures Toriyama's manga. On Switch, the game is slightly less visually impressive than on PC or PS4, but this is only noticeable when playing on a TV screen. In handheld mode, it's on par. One minor drawback compared to other platforms: the loading times. They're quite long for a cartridge, but this is probably due to the Switch's limited technical capabilities. The game itself is truly excellent. Despite all the negative things said about the story mode, I really enjoyed it. And I would have liked even more single-player content. For example: another story mode where you can relive key moments from DBZ… I certainly hope they add a sequel to this story mode. It's true that the difference between the characters isn't incredible. Each character plays pretty much the same, especially when you're starting out or don't play much. It's not like picking a Zangief or a Ryu in Street Fighter… But the fun is definitely there. The ability to play with others is a real plus. Forming teams of 2 or 3 against the AI or with friends is pretty cool. In short, a very good job. And this is despite the DBZ money-making machine being there to remind you that you'll have to pay an extra €35 if you want the pleasure of playing the new characters (via the Season Pass)… I can't wait for the sequel!

Good fashion story. Written for game. Plays brilliantly 1080p docked no difference I can see from playing on my PS4 in picture quality. Undocked u can notice . I play it with a pro controller it the first dragon ball game I ever played. Won't be the last. Got different modes in story work way kind of around aboard. Control not super easy but not hard like Street fighter to do special moves. Think be fine for my daughter to complete her 12. It was free on ps plus how I come across it. More of a switch fan. So bought this copy as not much difference in price wanted to play it two players with my daughter. Only have one PS4 controller. This is on Xbox one too

Negative aspects: some characters (albeit some of their characters may appear in other Dragon Ball games excluding Xenoverse II) and extra content on the page, they may live online and may not have alternating costs per person (their color is available in only one alternating color for your costume). Kamehameha…haaaaaa. For me, and this is just my humble opinion, this is the "GAME" that best represents this franchise. Developed by Arc System Works (Guilty Gear series), this game is a pure gem: fast-paced gameplay, stunning graphics, breathtaking attack animation, etc… A must-play!

DBFZ. I think it's one of the few manga I watched when I was younger. I didn't have any fighting games on my Xbox, so I decided to give Dragon Ball a try, and I wasn't disappointed. It's faithful to the anime, and it made me want to get more involved in order to learn more combos and try my luck online. Graphically, it's stunning, and the gameplay is fast-paced.

Excellent DBZ game. I received it on release day as originally requested. The pre-order bonus is included in the email you receive on the day of delivery. Regarding the game itself, it's been a long time since we've had such a detailed Dragon Ball Z title. The story mode is good, but the 2.5D combat mode is breathtaking, from the intros and animations to the special moves and well-detailed stages. My only complaints are the limited 3v3 battles, the somewhat inconvenient lobby for navigating, the difficulty in mastering each character's moves, and the lack of enemy or even allied characters, which could have been added and which I hope will be included in the future.

Almost perfect. Simply the best fighting game in the Dragon Ball universe. Arc System Works is known for its intense fighting games that put off many newcomers, but thanks to Bandai, this game is much easier to pick up and play, yet still enjoyable for experienced players. I think it's the best game to start with for learning the basics of fighting games. The game is beautiful, the animations are amazing. The only slight downside is the very limited single-player mode, which is a shame, but the game is designed to be competitive, so we'll have to live with it (hopefully with additions later).

Pure dynamite! First off, thanks to Amazon for the on-time delivery; I received the pre-order codes right away! As for the game, it's a blast: sublime graphics, it's fluid, it's fast... intense! As a huge fan from the very beginning (from the Club Dorothée generation), what a pleasure to rediscover this universe so faithfully recreated in an old-school fighting game (2D... more like 2.5D). The story mode has three arcs; the first is long, too long, rather easy, and not very interesting. The second arc with Frieza and Cell is excellent! Or the unlikely alliance between these legendary villains and Goku and company… Arc 3 is the one that reveals the most about the original storyline. More difficult than the first two, but truly interesting. Personally, I find the story interesting enough to make an OVA. Arcade mode requires you to go through the tutorial and have a good grasp of the combat system borrowed from Marvel vs. Capcom (3 vs. 3), otherwise, you're guaranteed to be punished! To put it simply: if you like fast-paced, accessible action games (but ones that can become quite technical for those who take the time to delve into them), this game is for you! And even more so if you love the DBZ universe.

Fun, fast-paced, and "respectful." Hello, Ah, Dragon Ball… I'm from the Dorothée generation, so when Dragon Ball FighterZ came out, it stirred up quite a few emotions. It was a gift for my nephews, and I had the opportunity to play it solo and with others. The pros: - The graphics!!! You'd think you were in the anime, they're so beautiful. A true respect for the original work - The fun surrounding the matches, the visually stunning "ka-me-ha-me-ha" combos :) - Multi-generational: behind this complicated word lies enjoyment for those in their thirties (or even older) as well as pre-teens - The quality and diversity of the roster - The battle format: playing with teams of 3 isn't new, but in Dragon Ball it's new and really fun! The downsides: - Sometimes it's easy to get lost, there's a lot going on on screen at once - Currently, the music is repetitive and a bit "heavy" (an update with the original music is coming) - The roster is a bit small in my opinion (DLC is coming that will increase this number, but DLC nonetheless...) In conclusion, if you like fun and fast-paced fighting games, enjoy Dragon Ball (you don't need to be a fan)... so go for it, you won't regret it!

Although Dragonball Fan must have played the game, it should be said that there is something to be said for it. Die Steuerung est sehr Gewöhnungsbedürftig zudem die Grafik im Jahr 2020 sehr hinterher hängt! Story wurde gut gemacht und umgesetzt was mir nicht so gefallen hat war der Onlinemodus der aus ungeklärten Gründen immer abbrach oder hangte. Alles in allem Okay, aber nicht gut!

A must-have, but... I bought it several months before its release on the Nintendo console, and I received it two days ago. I preferred to buy it on a handheld console rather than on PC, and there are advantages as well as disadvantages: The pros: - Portability, and the ability to play anywhere, anytime, to jump into quick matches - A fun game, both solo and multiplayer, and especially the ability to elbow your friend to the right to win - Graphically magnificent during combat - The original Japanese audio, oh my god, the original Japanese audio! - Kamehameha... HA! The cons: - Slow loading times... - A slight graphical downgrade in videos that aren't very smooth - The ergonomics of the Joy-Cons... prefer the Pro Controller which allows for more precise control of the characters - A terrible story mode with the worst of Japanese tropes... - The internet connection leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent

Excellent fighting game in the style of Dragon Ball. A good VS Fighting game; if you like the Dragon Ball franchise and dynamic side-scrolling fighting games, don't hesitate. The game is based on a combo mechanic where synergy between characters is key, but to achieve this, you have to find an opening in your opponent's guard! The art direction is fantastic: the graphics truly have a cartoonish style (and not the weird 3D like Xenoverse), and each character has a unique set of moves and techniques. The only downside is the rather limited number of characters without a Season Pass. I recommend waiting for deals or discounts before buying it because €35 for 8 characters is too expensive…

Magnificent. A truly excellent fighting game on the Nintendo Switch. This little console proves it's got some serious power. Beautiful graphics in TV mode. In handheld mode, it's simply ecstasy! Exemplary fluidity, a rock-solid 60 frames per second. I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the game. Online mode. Arcade mode. Multiplayer mode. Story mode… There's really plenty to do. The best fighting game on the Nintendo Switch and one of the best fighting games across all consoles. Three minor flaws: Loading times are too long. The story mode cutscenes are an eyesore. The season pass isn't included by default.
