ABOUT THE GAME
Redfall is an open-world, cooperative first-person shooter from Arkane Austin, the award-winning team behind Prey and Dishonored. Continuing Arkane's legacy of meticulously crafted worlds and immersive simulations, Redfall brings the studio's signature gameplay to this story-driven action shooter.
The island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, is under siege by a legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut off its citizens from the outside world. Explore the open world and immerse yourself in a deep, story-driven campaign to unravel the mystery of the vampires' appearance. Join forces with a handful of survivors to fight back against the creatures that threaten to bleed the town dry.
FEATURES
Redfall seamlessly blends single-player and multiplayer options, allowing players to venture into the darkness alone or team up for cooperative play with up to four players. Teammates can experiment with different hero configurations and combine their strengths to find creative solutions to the vampiric apocalypse. You'll collect an arsenal of specialized weapons and customize your character with unique upgrades and abilities to suit your playstyle, whether it's gunplay, stealth, or everything in between.
Created as a result of scientific experiments gone wrong and endowed with psychic abilities, the vampires of Redfall will challenge you and your squad to be creative. You will choose from a diverse team of heroes – each with unique character abilities – to defeat the vampire legion and its brood of maniacal followers.
- DEVINDER CROUSLEY: A cryptozoologist and budding inventor. Armed with weapons of his own creation, he is on a mission to prove himself.
- LAYLA ELLISON: A biomedical engineering student who did an internship at a research center, where something went very wrong, leaving her with intense telekinetic abilities.
- REMI DE LA ROSA: A brilliant combat engineer who has spent her life on the front lines. With the help of her cohort robot, Bribón, she is determined to save the survivors of Redfall.
- JACOB BOYER: A former military sniper turned private contractor. Strange events in Redfall left Jacob with a mysterious vampiric eye and a spectral raven that is never far from him.
Redfall is a true Arkane experience set in a rich world that blends the familiar with the extraordinary. Redfall's open world was handcrafted by the master level designers behind Prey's Talos I space station and Dishonored's Dunwall. From the once-bustling city center to the haunted forest and the decimated seaside promenade, you'll fight your way through cultist outposts and supernatural psychic spaces as you unravel Redfall's many mysteries.

Absolutely terrible in every way, this game is a real disappointment and should be consigned to oblivion. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, said it perfectly: "This game is a disgrace and I apologize to the players." So, when a boss apologizes, it means there's a real problem. Anyway, you should just try it; it's free on Game Pass, and you'll see.

Where to start the game is a... period. Poorly optimized for PC, bug after bug throughout the game is clearly unfinished. Flat story, flat missions. 11 hours of gameplay to finish all the side and main missions, always the same flat missions, invisible walls every 2 seconds. Buy it, not really the worst game in a long time.
