Noisy DVD drive. The console is great, same experience and performance as the PS5, I like that it's smaller. The DVD drive is too noisy; it makes the whole console and the furniture it's on vibrate. I've researched this issue, and it seems to occur on most PS5 Slim Edition consoles. Perhaps it's because the DVD drive is now easily removable, and the vibrations don't subside.

I'm blown away by this PS5 and its controller. It arrived two days earlier than expected, what a pleasant surprise! My last console was the PS2; I skipped the PS3 and PS4 due to lack of time. That should tell you how impressed I am with this PS5 and its DualSense controller. The evolution over twenty years is incredible. I'm in awe of all the games since I'm discovering them all for the first time. What progress in graphics, textures, and engines, resulting in breathtaking realism! The plastics are high quality, solid, and have textures that give them a more robust and stylish look. I bought two games online, and after updating the device and controllers and downloading them, everything took me about 25 minutes in total. There was no background information and no progress indicator or instructions… – and all I had to do was log in to the mobile app and pair it. The most tedious part is the account creation process, the screen "configurations," etc. which, being simple, are a bit long. It's to better view the games later, yes, but it takes a lot of time. Fortunately, you only need to do it the first time… Then, it greatly simplifies management. And it increases security at all levels, by being able to use an external application to log in or receive an SMS with a code each time you need to access critical sites (payment, profile, data, etc.).
