Description
The Inquisitor is a dark fantasy adventure game with action sequences that forces you to make difficult moral choices. The game takes place in an alternate (religious) version of reality, inspired by Jacek Piekara's bestselling Inquisitor book series. Once nailed to the cross and near death, Jesus is consumed by a burning rage. He breaks free and takes violent revenge on all non-believers. Centuries have passed, and now an army of zealous inquisitors brutally enforces faith in this blood-soaked Church.
You are Mordimer Madderdin, an inquisitor in God's service, sent to the city of Koenigstein, which is plagued by a series of mysteries and sins. Solve the various cases and crimes of those who have transgressed the faith, while uncovering the truth about a darker evil from another realm that is trying to infiltrate the world of the living.
- Be the Ultimate and Holy Judge: your role as an inquisitor is to maintain order and uphold the faith in God. But the world is filled with sinners who have gone astray. Decide the fate of those you judge in numerous scripted cases and missions. This is a world where morality and good have long since drifted apart. So, will you show mercy or unwavering faith in the Holy Law?
- A non-linear and morally flawed narrative: This is a dark and brutal story centered on a religion that preaches vengeance and violence. The multiple branching paths will test your morality. Choose your path and decide what kind of inquisitor you will be—an inquisitor of mercy or an inquisitor of vengeance—and ultimately, the mark you will leave on this world.
- A brilliant investigator: Mordimer possesses unique skills and abilities that allow him to solve the various crimes and mysteries that have plagued Koenigstein. Track down and interrogate suspects. Uncover the hidden truths of the town and its inhabitants. Gather the evidence and make your final judgments.
- Delve into the Unworld: Unbeknownst to those around him, Mordimer possesses the ability to enter the mysterious Unworld. There, he can uncover the deepest secrets that suspects have tried to bury deep within their souls. But venturing into this world carries grave risks, and the dark force that reigns supreme there will do everything in its power to destroy you if you set foot in its realm.
- Persuasive Interrogations: The 1500s were a cruel time for justice. As an inquisitor, you have complete freedom to use whatever methods and tools you deem necessary to persuade suspects to reveal 'the truth'. These optional interrogations hark back to the time of the real Inquisition, and it is up to you to decide if and to what extent you should use force against those under your investigation.
- Let your sword do the talking: Sometimes, all it takes is cutting out a tongue to loosen it. Thanks to a combat system entirely based on the sword, you can, in certain situations, use brute force, or even demand it. Master your blade, find your openings, and exploit your enemy's weaknesses.

Disappointment. Boring as hell. Cumbersome, repetitive, this game doesn't even make me want to turn on my console anymore… And I'm almost at the end (to say I persevered) but, unusually for me, I'm stopping. I won't finish it. I'm fed up, no enjoyment whatsoever. Gameplay, level design, graphics; Xbox 360 level. Ridiculous… But that's not even what bothers me, the game is simply boring and I have so many other games waiting for me. I've wasted enough time. But make up your own mind, this is just my opinion.

Not finished yet. Hard to stop once you start, so great, I highly recommend it.

The story is interesting

This game belongs to the genere historical fiction and is ambient in an alternative medium to which the inquisitori is the agent of the Papa's direct service. In this setting alternativo the Cristianesimo è he is stronger than the world in that Cristo non era mai morto sulla croce ma invece era sceso dalla croce e si era vendicato dellimpero Romano lanciando un'armata against l'imperatore Tiberio. When he arrived in Roma, Cristo il Vendicatore decapitated Tiberio and then proclaimed the new Roman of Roma. However, the type of game is practically null and void when it protects the combat. If the alternano element of the RPG prompts its screen with the element of combat, it is already rudimentary. Peccato perchè sia l'idea et la storia sono davvero belle, ed è appunto per questo che ho dato 2 stelle invece che 1.

However, if the game seems interesting though it is not available in Italy and you see the type of game it is almost impossible to play... peccato!

A good time. A little gem…

Average. Average because of repetitive and poorly explained tasks.
