This is my GOTY for 2023. No watered down shoed in features, no bloat with unnecessary mechanics and game modes just a really solid shooter that's way more fun than any call of duty game you'll play. Fantastic value for money, tons of replay value and just a really satisfying bug free experience. Now!

Back when this released on PC in 2023 it was my GOTY PC game, and i'm happy to say that this port to console is on par with it's PC counterpart, keeping all the content minus one omission i will mention in just a bit, i didn't experience any stuttering and the frame rate was constant, at the end of the day this is a great shooter that cuts right to the chase, it doesn't try to sugarcoat you with a Hollywood style cinematic story, it asks you to pick up a gun and kick some goons in the face in glorious slow motion, and have fun doing it!Now for that omission, they removed the sandbox for this console release, now the sandbox allows you to do all kinds of silly stuff, like placing NPC's and different assets around, no-clipping, activating cheats, and just abusing the game mechanics to their max, the fact that this was omitted is kind of sad, since it could be a huge portion of the end-game when you're done with all the missions and side-content for some, (like the guy reviewing this version.) I could tell you to support the devs and just buy the PC version, but maybe you don't have a gaming PC? maybe you're not even close in getting one financially, maybe you don't have space for one, and this is why the omission is a little sad, one can hope that they'll do a small overhaul and just add it to the console version down the line via a content patch, because in many ways this is when the game gets really really stupidly fun.Otherwise? if you just want a really short but great game where you blast away some bad guys in style, i can't recommend this high enough, easily a 5/5 on PC, and in many ways, equally as fun on console, if it sounds like that's your kind of jam, then get it, you won't be disappointed!

This game is really bad. The gameplay is poor and boring, the graphics are ugly, and the AI is ridiculous. Since there's no story, the game is completely pointless! I played for 10 minutes and sold it!

A very good shooting game. A very good shooting game where you can even slow down time sometimes. I loved it.

Fun, but... Quite repetitive and short, little replayability unless you want to try the other difficulty modes, but it's quite fun like FEAR was in its day, but the story is much more minimalist.

A huge favorite, reminiscent of Black on PS2. I absolutely love this game! Trepang 2 immediately brought back the feeling of playing Black on PS2: fast-paced, brutal, and stylish. The gameplay is incredibly smooth, the weapons feel great, and the powers (slow motion, invisibility) make the fights even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is dark and well-crafted, and even if the story is a bit predictable, you don't care because the action is so intense. If you enjoyed old-school, action-packed FPS games, go for it. A blast from beginning to end.
