A gem. Perfect. Music, story, characters, everything is perfect. And it's inexpensive. Dynamic turn-based gameplay (yes, really!), good replay value. Cinematic presentation... Honestly, go for it.

More than a video game, a true masterpiece. I just finished Chiaroscuro a few days ago. Yes, this game is a masterpiece. The storytelling, the unforgettable and well-written characters, the creatures—both endearing (especially Esquié) and bizarre, hilarious, and atypical monsters—but also, and above all, the highly strategic combat system. Knowing how to use your icons effectively, upgrading them and your weapons, managing leveling up, and performing real-time dodges—what pure pleasure! There's no map (apart from the world map) to guide us, and that's a good thing. After all, we're entering a universe where the protagonists are trying to stop the Painter, who erases people over the age of 33. Every year the number decreases, but where can she be found? And then there are the magnificent landscapes and panoramas (and paintings) in the City of Light (which evokes Paris). The music is divine, the songs so beautifully sung. Once you start this game, you can't stop. You're swept away by the emotion from the very beginning. Kudos to the developers for making us feel so much, laugh, and cry. For those who will come after.

Perfect delivery, fantastic game. Everything is in the title: delivered two days after its release, but in perfect condition and inexpensive! For a game like Chiaroscuro, shipping cost 33... this game is amazing, others have described it better than I can! A world to dive into without hesitation!

The best game of recent years. FF7, The Witcher 3, Nier Automata, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid… and now Clair Obscur too! Masterful, the soundtrack will make you cry and the gameplay revolutionizes the turn-based RPG genre. Thank you for creating this game!

Wow. What more can be said when everything has already been said? Perhaps a thank you to those who believed in this project and had the courage to create it. A superb game in every way that delights the RPG fan of all genres that I am. The intensity, the atmosphere, the gameplay... it's a magnificent adventure and a wonderful game that I recommend to everyone, even if it is admittedly a bit harder than modern games. You just have to take your time and give yourself the time to get to grips with the combat. It was perfect. I hope the video game industry will follow this example of a F-RPG masterclass. 😉

Such an amazing game. Beautiful landscapes to travel through. Engaging story with a perfect voice cast. The battle system is so fun and fresh but also reminiscent of legend of dragoon. If you enjoy turn based games at all this will be one of your new favorites. I have a feeling I will be playing this game over and over again.
Just some old guy. –
I had not played a turn based game since an old Might and Magic game on the PC. I was not very sure before I bought this but I am now! First 15-20 minutes you look around the town and once you leave it's all good. I'm only about 2 hours in but its graphics are great and leveling up happens at a good pace so one is not left struggling. I fought a monster went back to the check point to heal up and went to continue on and the monster was back….point being it was an easy way to grind a few levels rather quickly, fight and heal and fight again. Dodge and Parry take a little time to get good at, which I still struggle sometimes. However it can be much easier to Dodge than Parry in many cases, so far.As I said I am only a couple of hours in but so far it is a very likeable game.
Oh! Bi-One Ken-o-Bi –
Don't be fooled… The game clearly deserves 6 stars, but these "sellers" offering it for €90 don't even deserve one! Whatever you do, don't buy the game at that price; it will soon be back in stock AND at the normal price.
