Become the Master of Monsters!
DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Prince of Shadows invites you to plunge into a fantasy world in search of revenge.
Struck by a curse, Psaro is unable to shed monster blood. He must become a monster leader to create an army and fight.
This hunt for powerful monsters will take Psaro on a journey through the changing seasons of Nadiria and its unique environments: rivers of molten lava, mysterious ruins, and impenetrable towers of Genoese tiles. During his travels, Psaro will come to the aid of Rose, the kind-hearted elf, who will join him in his quest for ever more formidable monsters.
For Psaro, the key to success lies in synthesis: the ability to combine two monsters to create a more powerful one. Each new creation brings Psaro closer to his ultimate goal: becoming the Master of Monsters.
- A wonderful world awaits you
Rivers of molten lava, impregnable Genoese towers: the wondrous lands of Nadiria are as varied as the monsters that inhabit them. The landscapes transform with the seasons. Some monsters only appear when the weather suits them, and the most astute monster tamers will know how to take advantage of seasonal changes to reach places once inaccessible. - Train countless monsters
Over 500 monsters to train, fight or help during your adventure, including a series of brand new monsters to discover, but also regulars from the DRAGON QUEST saga. - Combine & create to develop your strategy
Synthesize monsters and assemble a unique team. Create a magic-specialized slime or a vamp capable of dealing massive damage. When it comes to combat, your involvement is entirely up to you: issue every order yourself, establish tactics for your monsters to execute, or give them free rein by enabling auto-battle.

Dragon Quest > Pokémon. A very good Pokémon-like game, even if the graphics are a bit rough. But the bestiary is huge!

A captivating adventure for RPG fans. Dragon Quest: The Dark Prince offers a captivating gameplay experience that will delight role-playing enthusiasts. I was immediately drawn to the ability to fuse monsters, a mechanic that adds a unique strategic dimension to every battle. What makes this feature special is the diversity of creatures that can be combined, resulting in unique companions with surprising abilities. The collection and customization aspect added considerable depth to my progress in the game, with each new combination being an adventure in itself. While some reviews mention the repetitiveness of the environments, I found that the richness of the content offered more than compensated for this minor drawback. Side quests, optional challenges, and the constant improvement of monsters kept me engaged for hours of gameplay. In conclusion, Dragon Quest: The Dark Prince is a title that deserves a place in the library of any RPG fan. Despite a few minor flaws, the overall experience is immersive and satisfying. If you're looking for a game that offers a wide variety of monsters to capture and fuse, then look no further!

A game for enthusiasts. Dragon Quest: The Dark Prince is a captivating experience that completely hooked me, primarily thanks to its monster fusion system, which stands out for its exceptional quality. From the very beginning, I was fascinated by the variety of creatures that can be combined, offering a unique strategic dimension to each battle. What makes monster fusion so special is how it gives birth to unique companions with surprising skills and abilities. The collecting and customization aspect added considerable depth to my progression through the game. Each new combination was an adventure in itself, and discovering the synergies between creatures was a real treat. However, the game is not without its challenges. One aspect that slightly marred my experience was the repetitiveness of the maps. While the environments are visually appealing, the feeling of repeatedly traversing similar territories sometimes diminished the excitement of discovery. Despite this, I'm currently at 30 hours of gameplay, and I haven't felt any need to rush my progress. The fact that the game can maintain my interest for such an extended period is a testament to the richness of its content. Side quests, optional challenges, and the constant improvement of my monsters have all contributed to keeping the game engaging. In conclusion, Dragon Quest: The Dark Prince offers an exceptional monster-fusion experience that will appeal to role-playing game enthusiasts. Despite the repetitive maps, the depth of gameplay and the generous amount of content allowed me to fully immerse myself in this captivating world. With 30 hours under my belt and no need to rush, this game promises many hours of entertainment for fans of the genre.

Highly recommended for fans of this type of game. A very good game. I've been waiting a long time for another game like the one released on Nintendo DS several years ago.
