Great story, beautiful graphics, good game. Initially, I wasn't happy; the product arrived in a different blister pack than the PlayStation one. I had doubts about whether it was new, especially since the middle of the box where the disc is held was damaged. However, the CD is in perfect condition, and the game runs smoothly without any bugs. I've only just started playing, and since I'm not exactly a pro, I'm only at the beginning, but frankly, it's enjoyable. The graphics are magnificent, and the story is interesting, at least from what I can see. Those who loved Bloodborne, Steel Rising, etc., will love this game. I highly recommend it. And happy gaming to all those who give it a try!

I am a huge souls fan and I've played all of the Dark Souls games, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. I was skeptical of this game at the onset, as most soulslike games are a bit disappointing, however, this one blew me away. It has a unique atmosphere, engaging gameplay, and an interesting story.Here are some of the things I enjoyed:- Souls combat system: stamina bar, same healing mechanism, fast-paced combat, high-quality bosses, specter system (summons), powerful consumables, difficulty but not overwhelming or impossible (maybe similar to Dark Souls 3 difficulty or a bit easier)- Unique game mechanics: no weapon stat requirements, cool weapon crafting system, re-usable buffs on weapons, good balance between dodging or parrying, status effects- Story and characters: interesting story that mirrors Pinocchio but in its own way, high-quality characters, plot that is still a bit mysterious- Environment: Somewhat linear levels, but amazing art design and ambiance throughout the whole game- Upgrade system: similar to souls for crafting and upgrade materials, p-organ upgrade tree was awesomeAnd here are some of the things I disliked:- Weapon durability: Doesn't add a lot to the game, but more of a minor annoyance- Repetitive enemies: human enemies were a bit disappointing or lacked variety- Status effects: sometimes overused or too gimmickyOverall, it is a great soulslike game that mimics the best parts of the Souls games, yet still adds enough of its own unique elements to stand above the status of «souls knock-off». It is difficult, but rewarding in the same way that most FromSoft games are. Definitely recommend.

This is coming from someone who has almost 100 all fromsoft souls games.This is probably the best soulslike out there. The combat is like bloodborne, but with sekiro parrying, with a mix of Pinocchio. I 100 this game and it's new dlc. Fantastic game.It's pretty hard but I'd say the souls games are harder. You'll probably be fine as long as you have good patience and/or played some fromsoft games and know what to expect.I very much recommend this game.And by the way, I mentioned the dlc earlier but the dlc isn't included in with this game annoyingly. I think it's like £30 but I definitely recommend the dlc too. It's better than the base game.

Thank you Amazon, that's 100% top-notch 😉 Who doesn't know the famous Disney animated film Pinocchio from 1940? Enchanting and colorful, with a sweet and magical story that leaves us dreaming. But that's not what you should expect in Lies of P, which is based on Carlo Collodi's novel Pinocchio, written in 1881, and takes us into a chaotic, nightmarish, wacky, and much darker world… The puppets have become killers and mad… Discover it for yourself…! NOTE: The game case has a printed cover on both sides, but it's not a reversible cover in my standard version (see photo). NOTE: The game's voices are in English, but they are subtitled in various languages, including French. As an aside, this isn't a direct comparison to Lies of P, as it's not the same genre or difficulty level, but it reminds me of one of those games I still have on PS3 in physical format (see photo), Alice in Wonderland, titled Alice: Madness Returns, created by American McGee. The story of Lies of P is inspired by Carlo Collodi's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, while adding a rather dark, macabre, and fictional touch. Chaos reigns over the city of Krat, and it is in the form of Geppetto's puppet that you confront the enemies. The once peaceful city of Krat is devastated by the arrival of mad and disoriented puppets, transforming this wonderful place into a true nightmare… But Geppetto, the puppet master, intends to put an end to this disaster… This is where your journey begins, fighting these puppets to restore Krat's former peace. The depiction of the Krat Hotel (a necessary stop) where a rather peaceful and secure atmosphere reigns—in fact, the only place in the entire game of Lies of P—is a small touch of calm amidst this chaos. ▪ Difficulty Mode: Lies of P, like all Souls-like games renowned for their challenging difficulty, is a bit more accessible and "easier" than others, such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, etc. The game's atmosphere has been very well crafted and plunges you directly into the rather gloomy, dark, and reimagined world of Pinocchio, with puppets that have become increasingly mad, but still… Boasting striking aesthetics, the art direction is magnificent, as is the soundtrack, perfectly suited to each stage of the game, at once sharp and sweet, and poetic. And despite the game's dark tone, a veil of enchanting notes floats in the air…✔ All the ingredients are there for this enchanting, yet dark and elegant, souls-like game set in a reimagined world of the wonderful tale of Pinocchio. The art direction is meticulous and refined. The character and environment aesthetics are very successful. It's truly beautiful. A very beautiful soundtrack, accompanied by a touch of piano, is nuanced and pleasing. Well-balanced and accessible difficulty, less "hard" than its predecessors like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, etc…▪ A great success for Round8 Studio's first major game.▪ Lies of P is a beautiful and well-made game that truly deserves its 5 stars. If you don't like difficult games, then Lies of P might not be for you…? But if you enjoy a challenge that pushes you to excel through patience and perseverance, then it might be for you… Will you pull the right strings…?
