- The world's insatiable thirst for entertainment has turned to bloodlust as entertainment giant TEC1 prepares to premiere the second season of its television sensation, SCUM. This new season moves the competition from the rugged, enclosed indoor arenas to the lush forests, rolling fields, and rugged terrain of TEC1's private SCUM Island. Fan favorites and new prisoners will clash in a ruthless battle for survival while fighting for the support of viewers, producers, and corporate sponsors for fame, prizes, and a chance at an afterlife.

By combining the methodical planning and management of hardcore survival with optional PvP "network events" accessible to everyone at any time, SCUM achieves a unique balance between complex simulation and intense action in the next generation of survival games.
- Complex simulation: Players can immerse themselves in the smallest details of the survival experience thanks to systems controlling their character's metabolism, inertia during movement, and even the speed at which layers of clothing dry on and off the body. The devil is in the details.
- Massive landscape: Initially, the massive terrain will be manipulated on foot and, as development progresses, vehicles will be introduced for faster movement. .
- Expanding gameplay: While the current version of SCUM already includes basic crafting, combat, and customization systems, the feature set and gameplay will continually expand to include more advanced mechanics, greater gameplay variety, and a metanarrative allowing players to complete missions in the hope of one day leaving the island…
- Online Multiplayer: Survive with up to 64 players per server, with the option to rent your own server directly from the game menu.
