We've been waiting for this for so long. Finally, we can play it on PS5. It's been a long wait: 12 years since the PS3 version, which I've finished almost 10 times! One small/medium/major complaint: you have to be subscribed to the PS Store to play. It's outrageous of Sony to charge us first for the game, then for the connection to the site…

I can't play. I received the game on release day, but I can't play it because the servers are overloaded. I mean, that can happen during a game launch. It's been two weeks since the game came out, and I still haven't been able to complete the second race due to server connection problems. It's a disaster, unplayable. I'm really disappointed. TDU made a big impression on me back in the day, but frankly, it's shameful to release an unplayable game. On top of that, from the little I've been able to play (not even an hour in total), the graphics are really ugly. It's 2024, after all… I'm not asking for a breathtaking game, just something visually appealing. With the engines we have in 2024, it shouldn't be hard to make a pretty game! Anyway, for now, wait before buying it. Maybe they'll have fixed the issues in a few months, but if you want to avoid wasting your time and money, this game is best avoided.

My fears were dispelled. At first, seeing the graphics, I was very afraid they would ruin my gaming experience, but in the end, quite the opposite! I love the game mechanics; it's a pleasure to drive through the streets of Hong Kong. There's a realistic and enjoyable aspect to it thanks to "basic" features that are missing from some competing games, such as turn signals, headlight functions, etc. Finding wrecks to restore randomly on the map is also fantastic, as are the engine sounds, which are very pleasant! I haven't been able to test the online mode because I prefer playing solo, but in any case, I recommend this game for people who like to drive without any pressure! The graphics prevent me from giving it 5 stars, but if the graphics were better, I wouldn't hesitate!

We've been lied to. The game isn't worthy of the PS5's power; it feels like playing a PS4 version, and even then... As you can imagine, the graphics are ugly. The trailer videos were truly magnificent, designed to entice us. Don't buy it right now because, on top of everything else, it's unplayable. I hope the studio reacts quickly by releasing decent updates. It's a shame for a franchise whose return we've been waiting for for years. I'm really disappointed with my purchase.

A title that deserves a chance. Test Drive isn't a perfect game; the graphics aren't up to current standards, and a year later, the game is still being improved (bugs, content, etc.). That being said, you have to be aware of what you're getting into: the budget isn't the same as that of a behemoth like Forza or Gran Turismo, and the graphics engine is in-house—and French—it's the KT engine. I'm giving it 5 stars because, despite this, the first few hours flew by. The handling and vehicle physics, as well as the engine sounds, are, in my opinion, real successes. The races are fun. Graphically, aside from the sometimes less-than-perfect environment, the vehicles are truly beautiful and well-modeled. The vehicle upgrade system (air filter, turbo stages, chassis, etc.) reminds me of classics in the genre. I have high expectations for Season 5, particularly the improvements to the graphics engine and the addition of new content. This is a big thumbs up for this title, which had a rocky start but is very enjoyable and has real potential.
