I enjoyed the game, but after playing Three Houses, I feel it really leaves me wanting more. The main character's personality is too different from my own, and I wish I could have made my own choices in the story. As for the other characters, I find most of them quite lifeless; they each have a single defining trait that constitutes their entire personality. The emblem system is really cool; seeing returning characters from other Fire Emblem games was a great idea, but I think it also makes the game too easy at times. The story is predictable at times, and I struggled to really get into it, but despite all that, if you're looking for a chill Fire Emblem game, this one might be worth a try.

Wow, the game is so, so good! It's a hack and slash set in a parallel world to Three Houses. You don't need to have played Three Houses to enjoy this game, although I think it's better (even though the two games only share the license). As for my opinion, I've only played the Golden Deer route (the yellow team), so if you're planning on playing a different side, don't take my point of view into account. Regarding the story, in my opinion, if you loved this route in Three Houses, you should love it just as much in Three Hopes, although in my opinion, the friendship between the hero and the class representative isn't as developed as in Three Houses (I'm only halfway through, so yeah, maybe that will change, but it's a point I found important in Three Houses; you felt like you were embodying and following the story of two heroes instead of one). (me)) I suppose it's the same for the other paths, but that's just a guess. And as for the gameplay, if you want to try the game because you're a hack and slash fan, well, I wouldn't really know how to advise you since I've only played Dragon Quest Heroes before this, and honestly, I find the game enjoyable as a hack and slash. Each character has a different passive ability (so if you play two archers, the gameplay will be very slightly different but will remain almost the same). The attacks don't stay the same throughout the entire game, since we change our characters' classes, they unlock other attacks (in cases where we make an archer an elite archer, for example; otherwise, in cases where we completely change the character's class, all the attacks (except maybe the ultimate, I don't know, I haven't tried it, but since the ultimates clearly show the characters' personalities, I doubt they changed them between classes)). The only problem is To change classes, you need to unlock the option (and I personally found that a bit long). Sold by Amazon -> No issues with the hardware.

A very interesting game with good gameplay and a wonderful story. Lots of plot twists and an incredible gaming experience; the cutscenes are magnificent.
