Resident Evil 7, but better. What an incredible game! The graphics are magnificent, and it retains the same gameplay as RE7, which perfectly reinvented the genre. The enemies and bosses are impeccable. The blend of action and survival elements, and the atmosphere, are perfectly executed. Bravo to Capcom for this tour de force, once again!

Excellent game. Like Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village is played in first-person. It takes some getting used to, but it makes the game more immersive. Ethan Winters returns, as does Chris Redfield, an iconic character from the Resident Evil series. Unlike RE7, there are gameplay elements reminiscent of RE4, such as the merchant, the villagers, and the castle. For fans of the Resident Evil saga, this game is a worthy successor. Furthermore, the Gold Edition includes the DLC, making it a complete game, and it's definitely worth it when it's on sale.
