VAILLIER –
I'm having a lot of fun playing it! The game is quite faithful to the manga and the world of the anime series, even if some liberties with the story are necessary to make a good video game. The map is large, and you move around it smoothly, just like you progress through the adventure. The various gameplay mechanics are also solid, whether it's character movement, vehicle control, or menu management, including skill point management and vehicle upgrades; everything is quite accessible, easy to pick up, and effective. The only downside is the camera control during the various fights with Beelzebub, especially in caves or tight spaces; it's sometimes very difficult to get a good view. Finally, note that only Japanese and English voice acting is available. Everything is, of course, subtitled in French, and the menus are also in French, but don't expect to hear the same voices as in the French dub of the anime.

A great find. Not being familiar with this series, created by Akira Toriyama, I watched a few anime episodes and it was a pleasant surprise! So I bought the game. Graphically, it's classic Akira Toriyama; you'll quickly see the resemblance to Dragon Ball, so it's very pretty! You discover the story of the series with static shots and a few cutscenes made with the game engine. It's enjoyable to follow, but the limited variety of shots and the rather uninteresting pacing of the cutscenes make it just okay. The gameplay revolves around vehicles—tanks, motorcycles, cars, jumping robots—and their upgrades, except for a few sections where you're on foot. The gameplay is repetitive, based on mass slaughtering the three poor, different species of monsters you'll encounter for hours. The side quests are very uninteresting, and you improve a city by recruiting characters, which makes it "evolve" and basically unlocks shops. The game has merit in terms of its story, and the gameplay is entertaining. The first 4 hours and then it becomes boring

Small problem. I pre-ordered the game but I didn't receive the postcards, which is a shame. The figurine is very nice, but the price is a bit high.

Good, but there's a problem. We gave the collector's edition to my brother, and we received the Amazon pre-order code, but it's already been used (for vehicle camouflage). It's impossible to contact customer service. Otherwise, the game and the collector's edition are very nice.
