Description
ULTROS takes place in a multifaceted realm—a vast alien landscape teeming with life. Rooted in science fiction, ULTROS features an eccentric art style and a mystical soundtrack by the visionary El Huervo, known for his work on Hotline Miami. ULTROS explores the meta-themes of mental health, life, death, and karmic cycles through a profound and environmentally conscious story.
Experience brutal, intimate, and close-quarters combat with cosmic life forms, driven by a sense of urgency—where precision is paramount and every blade strike counts. However, this intense combat is juxtaposed with cultivating greenery and nurturing plant life within the Sarcophagus, offering precious moments of contemplation and peace. In turn, this allows deeper access to darker paths.
The rich world of ULTROS holds many secrets for those curious—and fearless—enough to uncover them. A unique loop-based mechanic lets you replay at key moments in the story, giving you the chance to discover these secrets, unlock different areas of the world, and gain new abilities in a branching skill tree. Experiment and master your own fighting style as you explore the world of ULTROS. Each loop brings you closer to the truth…
