Description

You are a stranger. Adrift on the Ageless Sea, you find yourself on the shores of a dying world. A figure shrouded in white, the Shepherd of Untamed Souls, emerges from the all-consuming darkness and entrusts you with a mission: to hunt down the last Guardians of the Old World. You must journey into the vast darkness to explore ancient ruins, uncover forgotten secrets, and battle the horrors that lurk within.

Thanks to the legendary Quake 1 technology, the DNA of revered 90s shooters flows through the veins of WRATH. This game takes the timeless elements of classic titles like DOOM, QUAKE, DUKE NUKEM 3D, BLOOD, UNREAL, and HEXEN, and transports them into the 21st century.

Equipped with an arsenal of exceptionally powerful weapons and an inventory of potent artifacts, you must traverse ancient crypts, sunken ruins, corrupted temples, and howling forests to vanquish your enemies. But do not underestimate your adversaries, for they are both powerful and numerous. Your mind must be as sharp as your blade if you hope to survive the dangers that await you.

The world of WRATH is rich in thrilling combat, diverse environments, and captivating lore. Each element is skillfully interwoven to create an authentic and enchanting experience, as timeless as the games that inspired it.

  • Explore a vast world shrouded in darkness, passionately crafted by the hands of expert Quake necromancers.
  • Chart your course with an arsenal of deadly weapons, each offering multiple firing modes.
  • Get to know your enemy. Many horrors lurk in the shadows, thirsting for your blood.
  • Artifacts of immense power are hidden in the darkest places of the world. Find them and dominate your enemies.
  • With legendary Quake 1 technology, WRATH is in every way a classic and authentic FPS.
  • Immerse yourself in a captivating soundscape, born from the wacky minds of Andrew Hulshult (Quake Champions, Rise of the Triad, Dusk and Amid Evil) and Bjorn Jacobson (CyberPunk 2077, Hitman, EVE Online).

Warning. Avoid at all costs. Nothing more than the first 3D DOM, a complete disaster. The graphics are appalling for a Switch game.

No more than that, but I was disappointed. For now, I left it in my hands and form. There are 3 stars.

    Amazon customer –

It deals with a type of quake game in greater sense, with its motor graphics. It's long, it's difficult, it's maintained, but it's not unpredictable. Here's a design that I didn't end up agreeing with, but it was revealed on some occasions, absurdly difficult in other cases... It's not bad, but it's the best

    ELROMINOUS –

Not bad. Not bad, but the levels are way too vast for my taste... they just drag on and it spoils the fun, I think... making a good Doom clone isn't easy... otherwise, aside from the overly large levels, the level design is still interesting, the Quake engine is very well utilized, and the art direction is excellent. The shooting mechanics aren't exceptional.

The Modern Doom and Quake. Positive Points: Beautiful graphics, top-notch music, very good gameplay – it retains the elements that made Doom and Quake successful back in the day. Negative Points: I don't see any.
