A magnificent game. A very good Soulslike. My advice if you're a fan of the genre is to buy it without delay. Get version 1.0 on DVD. Patch 1.5 drastically reduced the difficulty of some levels, which purists don't appreciate at all. Furthermore, version 1.0 DVDs will hold their value very well.

Good stuff. One of the best Souls games, in the Chinese style. The difficulty is poorly balanced on the bosses, but the game encourages you to adapt your gameplay depending on the boss. For example, the general will be almost entirely about counter-attacks. The witch Bo will be more about dodging, etc. Updates are planned to improve the gameplay and make Wuchang more fluid. You'll be able to drink potions faster, and be invincible while on the ground (you die a lot on the ground; bosses chain you down without any way to react). It's good, but it might not appeal to everyone, especially since some bosses are really tough. It's not an open world, but rather interconnected zones. Future updates will only make it better.
